BC Poker Review
We do not usually do poker reviews, but we decided to make an exception this time, as we have had such a positive relationship with BC.Game, and so many of our readers seem to love this brand. Hence, when we read that they were coming out with a social casino and a digital poker room, we could not wait to see these platforms hit the market.
They both did in late 2024, and per Jack Dorset, the CEO of BC.Game, these hubs are part of this brand’s continuous dedication to innovation. BC Poker is a flexible card gambling app, available to desktop and smartphone gamblers, but it caters far more to those in the latter group. It accepts a wide range of fiat payment methods, allowing eleven real money forms, and four virtual ones. It boasts an interface viewable in English and traditional and simplified Chinese, letting card gamblers create their own poker rooms. That said, it seemed like it was not fully fleshed out when we wrote this review. So, we expect more features to get added here as BC Poker gains its footing in the online poker landscape.
First Impressions
BC Poker does not stray from the BC.Game brand book, as it utilizes the same fonts, graphics style, and colors as its crypto and social casino siblings. As noted above, you get a mobile-centric presentation here, even if you choose to use this platform on a desktop, you still get a vertical layout with a bottom-screen navigation menu. We should highlight that this poker hub has two logos, one which is a card heart suit inside a capital version of the letter B, and a secondary one, which is a lower-case B with a spade inside it.
To enjoy BC Poker on your laptop or desktop machine, you have to click the Play Now button. For mobile play, you have to download dedicated apps.
Registering an account with this platform is simple. You get offered two options to unleash your poker powerhouse as BC Poker claims, joining this hub using your email address and phone number. Before you proceed with either method, you must check a box that verifies that you agree with this brand’s general terms and conditions. After you do that, and input the necessary info, you’ll have to enter a confirmation code before your BC Poker account is up and running.
Once you are an official BC Poker user, you can hop in this brand’s Telegram group – BC Poker Official – https://t.me/bcpokerofficial, or look to follow this brand’s X page – https://x.com/bcpokerofficial. You can also explore the BC.Game blog, which is super rich in content.
Games Offered by BC Poker
There are three main poker games offered at BC Poker. These are Texas Hold’em, Short Deck, and Omaha, each with rich settings.
In the top platform bar, you will see a Multi-Table Tournament, tab, a No-Limit Texas Hold’em one, a Pot-Limit Omaha tab, one for Short Deck, and another for Ace of Freeroll tournaments.
You can also use the Micro, Low, Mid, and High buttons laid out below these to filter out the games and tournaments according to their stakes or buy-in levels of the games or tournaments.
Using the create option at the bottom of your screen, you can build your own table, setting its name, ante/buy-in, the number of players you will accept, picking a game length, and service fee, put in place various rules, such as activating insurance mode, adding all-in or fold stipulation, and more. The insurance feature helps players manage risk, and you can create/join quick games here by sharing tables or entering a PIN code.
We should add that there is a casino lobby at BC Poker that features simple BC Originals. These are Fast Parity, Crash, Limbo, Mines, Plinko, Twist, Classic Dice, Keno, Double, Coin Flip, Hi-Lo, Roulette, Cowboy, and Monopoly Texas. These are titles fit for game-of-chance lovers who prefer no-fuss straightforward gameplay, of the provably fair type.
Easy Access
We had trouble installing the BC Poker app on our Android phone. We followed the link provided on the BC Poker website and downloaded a file that was around 168 MB. When we tried to install the dedicated mobile software, our phone warned us that we shouldn’t, and we had to deactivate a safety feature to be able to have this app on our phone. Yet, when the installation process finished, after it was all said and done, we got met with a failed warning, that this entire process was for nothing.
Hence, after all this trouble, we moved to use the BC Poker mobile version, and it looked like what we saw on our desktop machine via Chrome. It had the same layout and the same functions we outlined above. Everything worked pretty smoothly, so there are no gripes here. We recommend that you forgo the hassles of trying to install the BC Poker app, and just use the Play Now option found in the top right corner of BC Poker.com.
Deposits & Withdrawals
The fiat currencies you can use here are – Indian Rupee, Indonesian Rupiah, Japanese Yen, South Korean Won, Mexican Peso, Nigerian Naira, Philippine Peso, Russian Ruble, Thai Baht, Ukrainian Hryvnia, and Vietnamese Dong. You first have to select one of these if you choose to play with fiat money here, and then you get to choose a payment option from a list that matches transaction choices available to gamblers from the country that uses the picked currency.
Regarding cryptos, the ones you can use at BC Poker are:
- Tether
- USD Coin
- Bitcoin
- Ethereum
The minimum deposits for these are 0.00005 BTC, 5 USDT, 0 USDC, and 0.0019 ETH. The withdrawal minimum on this site appears to be the equivalent of $14. There is no maximum.
Know that there is KYC here, and the process entails you supplying/uploading a government-issued photo ID, a selfie of you holding that ID, and a bank statement or utility bill. If you have deposited over $5,000 here, you may be subjected to enhanced AML due diligence at BC Poker. There are three levels of due diligence regarding KYC that a user can get subject to here.
BC Poker Bonuses & Promotions
There is no BC Poker promo page, but we saw a banner advertising a $500 Weekly Grand Showdown at BC Poker, which is a freeroll, and there was one informing users that if they use the official BC Poker Telegram channel, they can snag bonus matches in there every week.
There also seems to be a promotional called Welcome Carnival at BC Poker, designed for new users. It doubles new users’ first deposit of $10 or more and gives them a 2% cashback, which requires the completion of an x1 wagering rollover for unlocking. If you sign up and deposit here within twenty-four hours after account creation, you will also get rewarded with a Weekly Tournament Ticket worth $5.
You also have different types of promotional events hosted by BC Poker. An example of one at the time of us writing this review was one called Lucky Drop, where you needed to join any No-Limit Texas Hold’em table, regardless of the blind level, and if your table had three players or more, at random moments, the platform would give a random cash reward. If you are the lucky gambler who gets bestowed this honor, know that no additional steps or applications are required.
Something we should not forget to mention is that BC Poker runs an invitation system that gives you gold rewards if you invite someone and they play twenty-eight hands or more on this platform.
VIP Program
We saw no info regarding a BC Poker VIP system. But, we read something about Experience Chips (EC), which are allegedly virtual chips used exclusively on experience tables. You can receive 10,000 EC for free twice a day, allowing you to play without using real money at BC Poker, but be aware that these chips cannot be used with cash or exchanged for any real-world value.
We expect to see some sort of Rakeback system get incorporated into this platform moving forward. In truth, we were surprised not to see such a thing when we scanned this hub.
BC Poker Customer Support
Shortly after registering our BC Poker account on our desktop machine, we moved back to the BCPoker.com domain and headed to the support page. There we were told that we could seek help through multiple aid avenues. The first was customer@bcpoker.com, a method via which we got assistance in like half a day. The page also suggested that we use the official Telegram channel and this brand’s X page for help. Naturally, it also supplied a link to a live chat window (powered by Intercom), but when we tried to use that aid option, we got met with a warning that replies in that window typically come in under four hours. We waited one, and then we gave up. Inside this window, you can leave your email so that you can get a response sent to your inbox regarding whatever you asked in the live chat message field, where you can also attach files.
If you are inside the app or the BC Poker mobile version, you can send a message to the support team or go through the help center by looking for the customer service option from inside your profile menu.
Security
BC Poker operates under an online gambling license issued in Anjouan, an autonomous island in the Union of Comoros, which is like the new Curacao, famous for its lax regulation. The site has a Go Daddy Secure Authority – G2 server certificate, and to ensure data safety, BC Poker uses RSA encryption, with a detailed cryptographic key and hashing process. On the security page, it says that this site implements Intel round SGX hardware encryption for its shuffling system, which is super high-end and complex, utilizing quantum random number generation.
You can activate 2FA here, and you can view past results, getting quite detailed info concerning things like all-in win rate, PFR, VPIP, games play, and hands month. There you get info available for distinct periods and different types of games you have played here. You can also activate 2FA from your Wallet Settings page at BC Poker. Of course, there is not much to say about the reputation of BC.Game in this section of our BC Poker review, as the team behind all three BC platforms has crafted a pretty good rep for its brands, despite the late 2024 controversy with late/non-issued payouts. We would call BC.Game a top three player in the crypto-gambling realm, along with Stake.com, and the third position is left wide open, a spot for which multiple brands can contend.
GOSU Conclusion
If you are into online poker and like to partake in card gambling remotely using cryptos, you may want to give this platform a shot. It is not as developed and does not have as enticing promotions as other top-name brands in this sector that run exclusive tournaments and supply loyal users with quality extra benefits. So, it has somewhat limited options, but you will find games to suit different budget levels and a Private Clubs feature designed to make playing here a more social experience, letting players invite friends to exclusive games.
We think that it is going to take some time and some more money put into this hub before it can get rated as a premium online card gambling destination. Granted, we are not heavily into poker, but even we can tell this platform needs some work. Other poker-exclusive brands have a much stronger focus on tournaments, and loyalty benefits (Rakeback), and most of them offer daily freerolls. The game software here seems pretty good, so we are sure that over time, this already quality digital poker room will be much more attractive to fans of the descendant of Faro, the world’s number one card gambling game.
