Sportsbet.io & Bitcasino.io temporarily deactivated on BTCGOSU
UPDATE: Sportsbet.io and the customer found a solution so this case is now solved – we are very happy about it since – as stated before – we have always been fans of sportsbet.io
We are sad to announce that we were forced to deactivate our sportsbet.io and bitcasino.io reviews for the time being. The reason for our action is an open scam accusation against sportsbet.io on bitcointalk.org forums.
A player made several deposits, placed various bets and made quite a nice amount of cash. When trying to make a withdrawal, his account was frozen and sportsbet.io asked him to do KYC, accusing him of multi-accounting.
The player went through the KYC procedure and claimed he has only that one account and no connection to another 4 accounts that sportsbet.io referred to.
Fact is – sportsbet.io took a final decision to only refund the player’s initial deposit and “confiscate” his winnings. The withhold amount is 0.373 BTC so we are not talking about peanuts here – at least not from the player’s perspective.
The problem is that sportsbet.io have not provided any evidence for multi-accounting at all and stated that the case is closed for them.
We at BTCGOSU have always been fans of sportsbet.io and bitcasino.io and trusted them to the fullest – we still believe that this must be a mistake but based on the given facts, we can’t promote the sites until sportsbet.io provides evidence in order to back up their decision.
The player’s scam accusation thread can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5263445.0
We will of course post updates on this matter.
