User Interface

There is nothing unique about Stake’s UX design. It sticks to the same ole tried-and-tested formula that has become the sector standard. If something is not broken, do not fix it. Right?

Therefore, the organizational pattern used here is what you have likely seen elsewhere. What we do love is Stake’s search function. It lets you instantly find the event you are looking for instead of going through tedious browsing to locate it. Also, specific betting markets, such as the soccer one, feature a wealth of stats and other nifty nuggets of info. Data such as head-to-head records, goals scored this season, and so on. Putting that info to good use will most certainly lead to better profit margins.

On the desktop version, the five tabs of the sportsbook page are the lobby, my bets, favorites, live events, and starting soon. You can get access to the left-side menu by clicking the three-bar icon in the top left of your browser window. It will reveal the markets sorted by popularity, top sports, and all sports. There is a link to the promotions page at the bottom of this list. We experienced minor issues with this menu’s scrolling option. So we thought that we should note that. We recommend using the up and down-pointing arrows on your keyboard to move up or down this menu.

On a mobile phone, the interface, as expected, is more compact but equally friendly. All in all, there is little to complain about in terms of UX here. You should be able to navigate seamlessly through this section.

Stake’s Sports Betting Markets

We counted thirty-one sports betting categories in the all-sports section. Naturally, we grouped all the Esports leagues as one market category. Speaking of the latter, you can wager on Counter-Strike, Dota 2, King of Glory, League of Legends, StarCraft, and Rainbow Six events on Stake.

Aside from the most popular sports betting options, there are some cool niche competitions featured here. These include indy racing, stock car racing, ski jumping, futsal, and field hockey.

Yes, there is a politics and entertainment section at Stake. There you can wager on things such as song contests, countries’ general elections, TV shows, and public polls.

The site seems to have a fondness for MMA, but we only could see UFC cards offered for betting. Upon further inspection, we discovered that this is so because the site is an official betting partner of the UFC. So that is likely why we never saw markets such as One FC, PFL, Bellator, or the Rizin Fighting Federation on this platform. That is a shame, as MMA also exists outside of the UFC. That said, this site claims to guarantee the best odds on UFC fights on the internet.

You can also bet on electronic soccer leagues at Stake, which is not something you often see. An even more impressive rarity featured here is live streaming. You can watch NBA, ATP Tennis, PDC Darts, FIVB Volleyball, MLB, and top soccer games inside the sportsbook interface. We cannot think of another crypto betting site with such an option.

Stake Betting Options

Stake crypto sportsbook offers the standard betting functions. You have an outright or futures option for most markets, including the Esports ones.

You can make single or multi wagers, betting on all kinds of aspects of a sporting event. For markets such as soccer, you can bet on things like who will score the first goal, bookings, goal scorers, corners, etc. There are even minute markets where you can wager on events transpiring in specific time intervals. An example of this is a team scoring a goal in the first ten minutes of a match. You will have to click on a chosen event to view these options.
