Here Kitty Kitty Slot Review
And we are back with another Red Tiger slot review. Following our disappointment with this provider’s Bounty Raid 2 release, we decided to explore another fresh Red Tiger game, hoping it would curb the displeasure that the sequel to Bounty Raid brought us. Here Kitty Kitty got set loose on the interactive gaming landscape on August 3rd, 2023, making its way onto virtually all platforms that work with this provider. It seeks to take online gamblers on a delightful escapade into reel-spinning entertainment using cutesy, fluffy, and furry companions. Though this game is not doing fantastically well, we still chose to check it out, hoping that it will restore our confidence in Red Tiger and make us analyze more releases from this company in the future. Let us see if it accomplishes this task.
Theme & Design
Felis catus, or cat, is a domesticated carnivorous mammal of the Felidae family that some people love, and others find obnoxious and stuck up. Opinions get split on the house cat, with polls showing that people overwhelmingly prefer dogs. We are serious. One survey reported that 73% of Americans said they would like to own a dog, compared to 23% who stated they would not mind having a cat. But in the digital gambling sphere, cat have their place, less so than dogs, though around eight hundred products feature them in some aspect. We have mentioned Blueprint’s Top Cat before, and if you like cat-themed games, you should also look into playing Iron Bank by Relax Gaming. Or browse the slew of Ancient Egypt-inspired games that have cats in them as god-like tokens or in their natural stake. Also, Pug Life from Hacksaw Gaming is worth playing, and Amazing Link Catalleros by SpinPlay is an obscure pick that is somewhat interesting from this category.
Concerning presentations, Red Tiger usually holds its own. And this is also true here. The creatures in this product have big eyes, like something from a Margaret Keane painting. The graphics here are painterly, implementing a watercolor style that is very cartoony in nature. We quite like the unique look of this game, as its backdrop is a homey living room with wall photos of cats and a window casting warm sunlight on a sleeping one. The reels here spin in a yellow frame with the Here Kitty Kitty logo at the top, along with a meter. The illustration type of the tokens used in this slot varies from the background one, as it is more digital and polished in nature.
The soundtrack of this spinner is very low-key, allowing the sound effects to take center stage. In our opinion, they are a bit loud. However, the win and feature-trigger animations jazz things up for an overall slightly above-average presentation.
The button configuration is your regular Red Tiger setup, with the spin and turbo-spin functions on the right and the bet adjuster and auto-spin options on the left. Note that in the bottom right corner of the Here Kitty Kitty area. You will find this slot’s Bonus Buy button.
Specs & Gameplay
Where do we stand on game specs? The default RTP in this spinner is 95.73%, the variance is medium-high, the betting range moves from $0.1 to $40, and the max win is x2,135. Here Kitty Kitty is a pay-anywhere slot whose action plays out on a 7×7 grid. It implements the cascading/avalanche mechanic, permitting more chances for winning combinations, as tumble sequences last until you stop forming winning combos.
To get a reward from Here Kitty Kitty, you must land at least twelve identical symbols on the same spin. For low-pay card suit group tokens that total forty-five and above, this title will award you prizes ranging from x10 to x25. The four cat premiums will yield wins of x50 to x300 for the same number of identical symbols hitting the 7×7 layout on the same reel rotation.
The fish bowl wild substitutes all the pay tokens here, and there are a few random modifiers, which we will explain below.
Bonus Features
The avalanche/cascading system fuels a four-stage progress bar at the top of the reel grid. So, when you hit a specific number of wins, you pass a stage and activate a modifier as a prize. It triggers at the end of a no-win avalanche sequence, and these modifiers are swap and destroy symbols, plus random wilds. The swap ones arbitrarily replace tokens, and the destroy modifiers remove random symbols, allowing novel ones to take their place.
The Catmageddon (cute name) mode is likely the feature that most gets marketed by Red Tiger concerning this slot. When it comes into play, a random 2×2 cat symbol enters the 7×7 setup, paired with an x2 multiplier. If you manage to land adjacent cat symbols identical to the round’s mega cat, you will increase its size. Its final form is a 7×7 big-eyed creature coupled with an x7 multiplier. Hence, every time you boost the cat token in size, its corresponding multiplier grows by x1. Nothing overly complicated about this.
GOSU Verdict
So, what do we think of Here Kitty Kitty? First off, we will tell you that you should be aware that this game has an adjustable RTP, so its return-to-player percentage may differ from site to site. That out of the way, we think the max win and default RTP are a bit low for the implemented variance model. And we did not feel like we were experiencing anything unique when spinning this slot’s reels. Nevertheless, it has some Okay features, and we are sure fans of collector modes will like this game. We are not over the moon about it, but we would label it – decent, ranking it above Bounty Raid 2. The visuals are charming, and cascading wins always make slot betting more pleasurable. So, if you adore cats and favor spinners like Reactoonz, give Here Kitty Kitty a go. You will probably find something to like about it.
