First, know that Wild Wild Bananas is more-or-less another take on Pragmatic’s Wild Wild Riches, the company’s established Irish Luck game. Even though, to us, it appears that Pragmatic has begun a shift towards creating more complex games. They are painterly graphics that have the standard Pragmatic flair. They are colorful and vibrant and have a children’s cartoon vibe. The setting here is a tropical beach, with waves coming into shore, while the reels spin inside a frame constructed by what we assume to be bamboo sticks.

A light, relaxing beach tune acts as the soundtrack for Wild Wild Bananas, but it sadly gets dominated by the various win and spin effects that ruin the tone it sets. Slight symbol animations play on winning spins, keeping things upbeat and zesty. The Wild Wild Bananas slot utilizes the standard transparent buttons interface that Pragmatic has used for several years.

The symbol position layout in Wild Wild Bananas is a 3-3-4-4-4 one, a slightly different grid setup from the 2-2-4-4-4 one in Wild Wild Riches. Pragmatic has adjusted the variance at high, the number of paylines at twenty-five and the betting slider moves here from $0.3 to $125. The max exposure of this game is x12,000, which we found to be super impressive.

You form prize-producing combos in Wild Wild Bananas by lining up at least three symbols on connected positions on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost one. The low-pay symbols of this slot are different colored gems, producing wins of x0.4 to x0.6 for five-of-a-kind combinations. A lily flower, a snake, a parrot, a monkey, and a girl characters are the premiums, generating rewards ranging from x0.8 to x4 for five identical instances of them landing on the game’s layout on the same reel rotation.

The wild is the word itself, substituting all pay tokens but not the scatter, which is a golden monkey holding a diamond.

Bonus Features

What do we think of the Wild Wild Bananas slot? In our opinion, this is an upgraded clone of Wild Wild Riches. In our eyes, it is a better reel spinner in pretty much every regard, though it is still super similar. So, aside from more than double the winning potential, gamblers are not losing much if they have Wild Wild Riches on their chosen platform but not Wild Wild Bananas, for whatever reason that could be. We would call this title decent, with its win cap ranking as the top reason to play it. It feels like a par-the-course Pragmatic Play spinner, but let’s be frank here. That can get said for over half of this company’s reel-spinning portfolio. So, overall, check out Wild Wild Bananas if you love high-variance action, and don’t lose sleep if you don’t.
