Snoop Dogg Dollars Slot Review
We teamed up with BGaming a couple of years back as a media partner, and we could smell back then that this provider was onto big things going forward. At the end of September, it released its initial celebrity-branded slot, one featuring rapper turned mainstream star Snoop Dogg. It also made waves in the sphere through its range of provably fair-style products and high-end slots. The company’s reel-spinning outings kept getting better presentation-wise as time passed compare to what it produced when it started.
Snoop Dogg Dollars is maybe BGaming’s highest-profile slot, one that represents a collaboration between Casinolytics, a casino intelligence platform, and Roobet, the crypto casino with which Snoop Dogg had a working relationship and whose likeness got featured in a proprietary crash game. This title initially appeared at Roobet on the 25th of September 2024, and then this spinner gained wider distribution on the 30th of October 2024. In the first few days after it launched, this slot did pretty well in most available markets, reaching the top one hundred standings in most of them. It even hit the number one position in the Philippines. Here, we give you the low down on this reel-spinning game, in terms of everything, with our judgment on just how good it is.
Theme & Design
Born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., but known to the world as Snoop Dogg, the focus of this game is this American rapper, actor, and media personality who rose to prominence in the early 1990s, first appearing on Deep Cover, Dr. Dre’s initial solo album. Snoop’s first album was Doggystyle, produced and distributed by Death Row Records. Aside from the mentioned Roobet crash pick, Snoop’s Hot Box, there is another Snoop-theme titled Snoop’s High Rollers by Gaming Corps, which does not actually feature Snoop but has primarily a pot and past US presidents’ motif.
Come to think of it, we cannot come up with many rapper-inspired games. Technically, we do not think there are any branded ones, which we find surprising. We know that there is a Loaded Games Global slot with a hip-hop theme and a few similar ones to this pick.
Snoop Dogg Dollars has a hip-hop culture vibe, with graffiti-style graphics and fonts. You have Snoop Dogg standing on the right of the steel-framed reel grid smoking a cigar, and on the left of it, you will find the game’s logo, with the bonus buy option underneath, and the Snoop Spin function. The game’s button configuration is pretty basic, with the spin and auto-spin buttons sitting in the lower right corner of the grid. The win info sits in the bottom middle, as text only, with the bet selector on the left and the info and settings icons in the bottom left section of your screen on a desktop.
Now, onto the audio side, which we assume is the thing that will mostly interest our readers. You do not get any Snoop songs in this slot, but you get a few Snoop sound bites and a GTA 4 San Andreas-type tune. You also have a Snoop Dogg Win animation where the cartoony iteration of this famous rapper here makes his notorious dance move.
Specs & Gameplay
We should start this section by saying this is a cluster-pay slot with a six-reel, eight-row setup. It has a high variance math model paired with a surprisingly high RTP of 97%. That is what most sites list: the return-to-player percentage of Snoop Dogg Dollars, but BGaming’s official site puts it down as the sector average of 96%.
The free spin bonus mode activation rate here stands at one in every three hundred and twenty-one gaming rounds pre-BGaming’s documentation. It has a betting range that starts at $0.25 and goes up to $25 per spin. In terms of specs, the last thing we will add is that the highest win you can attain on this game’s reels is x10,000 your stake, up to a maximum of €250,000.
To get a prize in Snoop Dogg Dollars, you must get more than five matching symbols on a single spin. The low-pay tokens here are four uniquely-style royals that look more like graffiti marks, something you would see on a Los Angeles suburb wall. These pay wins from x16 to x32 for a cluster of fifteen or more identical ones. The premiums of this slot are three different-type dogs, colored differently, that pay from x40, x80, and x120, respectively, for combos containing fifteen or more matching tokens.
The name Snoop written in yellow is the scatter of Snoop Dogg Dollars, appearing on any grid spot, and it can also get dug up from empty cells. Hence, this means that you get cascading gameplay here. There are also a host of other extra symbols that we will get into the bonus subheading that follows.
Bonus Features
In this game, winning clusters create marked positions, and these with consecutive wins receive increasing multipliers of up to x10. When multiple multipliers apply to a win, their values get summed up, and marked cells and multipliers reset after each base game spin.
Wilds (Snoop), weeds, and skulls can appear in empty spots from prize combos. The wilds are sticky and stay in place for the rest of the round, gaining up to an x100 multiplier. Weed symbols upgrade all multipliers; skulls remove low-paying tokens. Landing three or more scatters triggers the free spins, where you can snag up to twenty complimentary gaming rounds. The number of awarded spins depends on the number of hit scatters. During this mode, highlighted cells and multipliers remain until the round ends, allowing for retriggers.
You can buy access to the free spin bonus for the follow prices – x100, x200, x400, and x800, depending on how many activating scatters you wish to purchase. You can also buy a Snoop Spin for x20, which ensures at least one wild at the start of a spin.
GOSU Verdict
Snoop Dogg Dollars is nothing special, and it falls in line in terms of gaming fun with what similar cluster pay slots offer. Fans of Snoop may like this spinner; but we doubt that anyone else will find it especially attractive or interesting. That said, it is decent, even though it provides nothing new or overly engaging.
