Drone Battles Crash Game Review
Intro
Wild Gaming is another unestablished online game provider. Based on this company’s website, it became operational in February 2023. And it has been highly productive in its relatively short lifespan, producing twenty-four titles we know of. The most famous of these are Barti’s Treasure, Eagle Fishing, and its series of Cup games. Drone Battles, which Wild Gaming put out in October 2023, is a game released during what this company has labeled – Phase Three of development. That period began in September 2023 and should feature the launch of the latest batch of Wild Gaming products.
We could not find any ranking data about Drone Battles. And after a quick examination of the casino data at our disposal, we concluded that this title is pretty much an unknown commodity in most markets. Still, it reminded us of the recently reviewed Crash Duel X and looked cool, so we chose that we should tell you how we feel about it. Hence, that is what we are doing here.
How Does Drone Battles Work
The basics in Drone Battles are your classic crash gambling fundamentals. That means you have a multiplier that starts growing from x1.00, and its rise can stop at any moment. That happens randomly, and you must feel when the crash/stop will happen and select to claim the multiplier value (at that moment). If you wait too long, you will lose your stake and be a round loser. The twist here is that in Drone Battles, while the round multiplier swells, a pair of drones (one blue and the other red) battle it out. Hence, the game also allows you to wager on which one will win this head-to-head contest, and making a correct guess will boost your round win.
How to Play Drone Battles
You can make up to three base bets per round in Drone Battles, with the wager sizes here starting at $0.10 and going up to $100. However, be aware that bet options here grow sizeable. So, the higher choice above $10 is $30, and the one above it is $50. After you decide how many base wagers you wish to make here, you can opt to wager on which drone you think will emerge victorious in the head-to-head duel. You can bet on both, meaning you will only claim the reward for the triumphant drone.
Gameplay-wise, Drone Battles is similar to the already reviewed Crash Duel X by Smartsoft. Check out that analysis also if you are into crash picks offering multiple wagering choices in each round.
Where Can You Play Drone Battles
Fairspin Casino should have Drone Battles. Thus, look to play it there. Note that you will struggle to locate this crypto crash option at many of our highlighted platforms, and for some reason, it was not up on Fairspin at the time of writing. But we have seen it there. So, hopefully, it will make a comeback there by the time this Drone Battles review finds you.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Multiple bets per round.
- Low minimum bet.
Cons
- Undisclosed max win cap.
- It gets a bit dull fast.
- Poor auto-play options.
Graphics Quality
Visually, this game is not bad. Its action has gotten set in a futuristic Tokyo-style setting, a skyscraper-filled cityscape. We like that buildings here exist on multiple planes, giving the presentation here a sense of depth. That said. The graphics here are a bit flat and seem like image cut-outs. They boast a rotoscope look you may have seen in some fighting games. That style gets called cell shading.
The visuals here get complemented with some techno music and Okay sound effects. Overall, Drone Battles looks nice, but it feels a bit stilted.
User Experience
Most of the game options in Drone Battles exist in the bottom screen section, where you will find the three-bet options, your site balance, and your total bet. That gets held here along with your rudimentary auto-play functions. Above this interface section, you have the red and blue buttons, allowing you to bet on the two specific drones. What we do not like about the UX design of Drone Battles is that there is essentially no button to initiate a gaming round. To do that, you press the arcade-like Start text, which gets the two drones to duck it out and the round multiplier to start growing.
Tension & Anticipation Value
If you select to bet on the battling drones, you will have more on the line in this crash game. Therefore, if you decide to play this game with drone wagers, inherently, the tension value will increase in your sessions.
RTP & Variability
Wild Gaming does not list a variance level for Drone Battles, but it does not hide that the RTP in this release is 96.61%, and the hit rate here is allegedly 39%.
Min/Max Multipliers
Naturally, the multiplier value in Drone Battles begins at x1.00, and from what we saw online, the top multiplier in this game one can hit is x5,000.
House Edge
The house edge in Drone Battles is 3.39%, which is a tad higher than most third-party crash options we have seen, but it is still decent enough.
Winning Strategies
With three bets available per round, including the side wager option, you’re bound to find online hedging strategies to bolster your winning chances in Drone Battles. Consequently, we suggest checking Reddit for such tactics.
Summary – Is Drone Battles Worth It?
Drone Battles Crash delivers something a tad different. It does not innovate anything. Yet, it utilizes an approach to Busta-bit-inspired gambling that only a handful of other products from this genre feature. You can make multiple bets per round here. And you get treated to Okay visuals boosted by a retro arcade vibe. Is that enough for us to recommend you this game? No. While it has some things going for it, Drone Battles did not grab us how we expected. That is not to say that it will not captivate you, as it is far better than most other third-party crash market picks.
