Drift Crash Game Review
Intro
Pascal Gaming is a game provider we have gotten familiar with after we decided to focus on creating the Internet’s most comprehensive crash title review library. Aside from this genre, Pascal has explored several other gaming categories that feature simple gameplay, like stairs, hi-lo, and dice. It also has a range of bingo products that have done well in select markets. However, for this review, we will be back to analyzing what we know best from this supplier, and that is another burst mechanic release from this company.
You may have read our Striker, Crazy Worm, and Limbo game scans, all Pascal Gaming creations. Below, we explore Drift, a crash gambling pick set loose on the online gaming sector in September 2022. Like its siblings we have cast light on, this one has also not trended anywhere, as we could not find any public ranking data for it. That said, as noted above, we are on a mission. Once we see a crash choice we have not analyzed, there is no time to waste. We jump on the opportunity, giving you info if it is a quality one or a game that should have never gotten discovered in the first place.
How Does Drift Crash Work
In Drift, you press a circular button, and as long as you hold it down, you are making the car on-screen back wheel drift. What is drifting? It is a technique where a car’s driver intentionally oversteers. That causes the rear wheels of the vehicle to lose traction. Yet, he maintains control through a corner turn, which results in the car sliding sideways. That gets labeled – drifting. However, in Pascal’s Drift, your car remains stationary, and its back tires spin as long as you hold the circular button, which causes a round sum to grow. At any moment, the tires can blow, causing the in-round amount’s progression to stop, which signals the end of the game round. To win a prize here, you must release the discussed button and press cash out before this happens.
Note that when you release your hold on the pressed circular button, you get a five-second timeframe to decide. What do you want to do? Cash-out or accumulate more risk and go for a higher reward?
Drift features two extra modes. The first is the Multiplication Game, where, at random, six cylinders with different multipliers (x2, x3, x5, x10, x25, x50) appear on the screen. You can release the button at any point to secure your preferred winnings, and then, the won sum will get multiplied by one of the six randomly selected multipliers. If you do not make this decision by the time the five-second timer counts to zero, the game automatically selects your multiplier.
The second extra feature is the Bonus Game. It presents a golden wheel, which you must hold until it matches a pre-marked size. However, it can explode before reaching this mark, resulting in you losing your wager. If successful, you enter an eight-round bonus, selecting one of five wheels, which can reveal money, multipliers, or messages about progressing to the next round.
How to Play Drift Crash
There is no philosophy to playing Drift. You set a stake size, with the offered defaults ranging from $0.25 to $100, and then you hold the circle under the chosen car, following the instructions laid out above. Due to the nature of the gameplay here, and there is no auto-play in Drift.
Where Can You Play Drift Crash
We did our best but could not find a casino from our review portfolio that houses this product. That does not mean that one doesn’t or that it will not make its way to casinos that did not have it when we checked. Yet, we must be honest and tell you that this Pascal Gaming release, like most of this company’s games, has limited availability.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Two bonus modes.
- Has a provably fairness checker.
Cons
- Limited distribution.
- No auto-play.
- Offers only nine bet sizes.
Graphics Quality
The graphics here are nothing impressive, and they do not blend well. The background is a Tokyo alleyway image that is low quality, but the cars in front of it are super sharp. The soundtrack is a looping tune that you begin to ignore after a few minutes, and the wheel-spinning animations are rudimentary in Drift.
User Experience
The UX is super rudimentary in Pascal’s Drift. You have the car section taking up much of the middle and the left side of your screen, featuring the round car and the press button below it, with the wager selector and 1/2 and x2 buttons next to it. On the right, you have the Top Winners and Result History tables. And above them, rest your site balance, the setting, and info icons. The provably fairness checker is in the top left corner of the screen.
Tension & Anticipation Value
We would rate the tension here as by-the-numbers for the genre. Nothing more, nothing less.
RTP & Variability
We saw no variance setting for Drift, but Its RTP setting is 96.37%.
Min/Max Multipliers
Technically, there are no multipliers here. The round begins with your stake size. It grows until it stops increasing at a random point.
House Edge
If the RTP in Drift is 96.37%, this would make this game’s house edge 3.63%, which is almost identical to the casino advantage in European roulette.
Winning Strategies
There is no tactic you can implement in your Drift sessions, as the gameplay here and the lack of auto-play functions do not allow for any tactical approach to your gaming fun in this crash-style pick.
Summary – Is Drift Crash Worth It?
We find Drift interesting on account of its two bonus modes. We seldom see crash picks with extra gameplay features. So, that is a sizeable positive for this game. Nevertheless, other than this element, we cannot think of any other reason to tell you to select this Busta-bit-inspired gaming choice. It has a hint of novelty. But also boasts a narrow betting range and a disappointing top prize. So, we say check it out and see if the two bonus modes are enough for you to select Drift on your gambling journey.
