Crash X Game Review
Intro
Turbo Games is one of the more established creators of provably fair-style titles. We have talked loads about this company in the past. And we have reviewed a few of their products, like Limbo Rider, for example. Recently, Turbo Games has carved out its niche in the gaming sector by providing customizable games to crypto casinos. Of course, these are provably fair-like titles that operators can purchase and customize. They can mask/brand them as site-specific options. So, they may look a bit different, but all work on the same Turbo Games mechanics.
The company unleashed Crash X (Space Adventure) in March 2021, and surprisingly, this game is doing excellently in multiple markets even a few years after its release. At the time of writing, it ranked in the top five hundred most-played online gambling products in multiple markets, including Ireland, Austria, Japan, Poland, Australia, Brazil, India, South Africa, and Malta. That came as a shock to us and made us add our analysis of it to our ever-growing Crash review library.
How Does Crash X Work
Crash X – Space Adventure is a betting game where you place wagers from $0.1 to $100. Once you set your stake, you click the Place Bet button, and a spaceman appears, signaling that you will participate in the next round. After one ends, you have five seconds before another begins, and we love that the countdown features the bet total wagered in the round. When this time elapses, a rocket takes off. You can place two bets simultaneously per round. And you can cancel them before the rocket launches. Depending on how you want to approach your sessions, you can manually cash out or set up an auto cash-out multiplier. There are minimum and maximum win multipliers, with the top prize cap possibly being operator-adjusted.
How to Play Crash X
There is nothing distinct about Crash X’s gameplay. As the name of this title suggests, it features traditional crash-based wagering action. Hence, you set your stake and watch a rising multiplier. You can wait for the multiplier to reach your desired goal and cash out before the rocket explodes. When said rocket blows us, it brings the multiplier crashing, swallowing up un-cashed stakes. In sessions, you can wait longer, awaiting a higher payoff. That naturally carries significant risk and is more for those who prefer high-variance betting entertainment.
Where Can You Play Crash X
You can find Turbo Games’ Crash X at Bets.io, CryptoLeo, and SpinFever Casino.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Two bets per round.
- Has a few cool info features.
- Cool music.
Cons
- Low max win.
- Needs more advanced auto-play.
- Feels too basic.
Graphics Quality
Presentation-wise, Crash X has some level of charm to it despite its simplicity. The game features a traditional, provably fair, simple look. You get a little rocket that shoots out green flames representing your in-round multiplier, which grows from x1.00. Once the multiplier hits x2.0, the rocket will reach the right side of the screen and move to the top corner, where it will stay as the background changes, simulating movement. Above the rising multiplier, you get phrases like Not Bad, Godlike, and others when you hit specific milestones. The soundtrack of Crash X is decent, as it is a relaxing Starburst-type theme that gets enhanced by a few suitable, space-themed sound effects. When the multiplier crashes, its value gets displayed in red, and we do not understand why crash titles always restart their music for each round. We find that super annoying.
User Experience
In Crash X, you get a bottom screen bar where you can check out the time and date. Above it hover two distinct bet panels where you can set your bet amount and an auto-cash-out value. Then, you have the rocket/multiplier area. And, at the top of your Crash X desktop game screen, you see a horizontal list of past results, your site balance, an icon that lets you maximize the game to full-screen mode, a mute button, and one that lets you pop open the info page, where you can also lower the audio effects and music volume, and turn off the animations.
We like that you get multiple session ranks here and that you can see how many people participate in gaming rounds and how much they have bet.
Tension & Anticipation Value
You get the customary crash gambling tension in this game, no more, no less. Since there are no bonus features here, nor anything unique, in terms of gameplay, there is nothing that enhances the anticipation value in Crash X gambling rounds.
RTP & Variability
The RTP of Crash X is 97% per the official Turbo Games website. Some platforms list it as 95%. Hence, we assume this setting is adjustable. We know for sure that Turbo Games allows operators to tweak the variance of this title.
Min/Max Multipliers
The lowest multiplier value that the rocket in Crash X can explode is x1.01, and the highest number the rocket can fly to is x999,999.99.
House Edge
If the default RTP here is 97%, that would make the house edge of this game 3%, which is pretty good for a third-party Crash gaming product.
Winning Strategies
If you are a frequent BTCGOSU reader, you likely know what we will suggest in this section of our Crash X review. Make a first bet that aims to cover your two made stakes, which are modest ones that can get easily covered. And your second wager should feature a higher multiplier where you go for a somewhat sizeable reward. If your first bet does cover your stakes, then there is no pressure on the outcome of the second one.
Summary – Is Crash X Worth It?
We would call Crash X average overall and say that it falls short compared to competitors in the market. It has a few interesting aspects, and the music here is nice. Nevertheless, it has no feature that would make it stand out and make us recommend it. The two-wager option is cool, but you can find that in other crash-gaming picks that supply better winning chances. So, you are better off exploring site-specific options with 1% house edges (Stake) if you are looking to profit. Or navigate to some more visually stimulating choices like Big Bass or Hugo: Up & Away if you wish to get a more immersive presentation.
FAQ
Can You Play Crash X for Free?
Yes. We enjoyed this game for free at Bets.io, where we found this title in the Bets.io game lobby and selected Fun Play once this game began loading. You can also play the demo version at the official Turbo Games website via a mobile layout.
Can You Watch Crash X Live?
You can, but will you easily find a Crash X stream is another question? We suggest you try to locate one on Kick and other platforms that allow crypto gambling video feeds aired from sites accepting players from multiple countries.
What Is the Most You Can Win at Crash X?
Going by the info on the Turbo Games site and the rules page of Crash X state that the max win of Crash X is only $10,000. We find that super disappointing. Nonetheless, operators may be able to adjust the top win here.
