Striker Game Review
Intro
We know we mentioned Pascal Gaming during our Limbo game review, as this provider made that game. We are unsure if we have ever talked about this company in another capacity other than as the creator of Limbo. Pascal markets itself as a leading online casino game software developer. It operates from Yerevan, Armenia, and is responsible for over sixty games, most of these being slots. Yet, Pascal has also created a decent number of lottery-style products and various card/table picks. BetConstruct integrates this supplier’s products, found at a few dozen casinos.
Striker is Pascal Gaming’s release from the first half of August 2023. We tried looking for ranking data for this crash gambling option. But we could not find any. We honestly doubt that it trended anywhere because of its simple nature. And the fact that Pascal releases rarely do. Nevertheless, here is another crash game review to add to our portfolio and another opportunity to share our thoughts regarding another addition to this online gaming category. So, let us get to it.
How Does Striker Work
If you have visited your fair share of carnivals, you have likely seen a game where you hit a metal plate that sends a weight up to a bell atop a vertical tower. We did not know the precise name of this game, and a while back, when researching crash gambling, we learned its name is High Striker or the Strongman Game. It originated from 19th-century fairgrounds as a showcase of strength and athleticism. We can think of a few online gaming products using it as a motif, and this one from Pascal Gaming does an Okay job at this.
In Striker, you pick a stake size and press bet, which announces your participation in the upcoming round. Here, you pick a distinct number or a range. And after you do that and choose a wager, the puck round will randomly rise to a given value. If you have guessed the range of a specific number, you will win a reward.
How to Play Striker
In Pascal Gaming’s Striker, you can pick wager sizes from $0.10 to $100. That is the five-second version of this game, which features a max win of $5,000. The $10,000 variant has a minimum bet of $0.5 and a maximum one of $500. You also get a top prize $20,000 iteration, where the betting range is $2-$2,000. In that version, you get a ten-second wait window between rounds.
The game features minimum/maximum bet and 1/2, x2 options. You can play each round individually, selecting specific numbers or ranges, or you can utilize an auto-play function, which allows you to automate up to ninety-nine rounds.
Where Can You Play Striker
Nine Casino should carry Striker. We saw no other site from our collection of reviewed crypto casinos housing this product. We are sure that a few others do. Yet, during our quick browse of our library, we found no other platform with Pascal Gaming’s Striker in its lobby.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Three betting ranges available.
- Multiplier range selection.
Cons
- Lower than expected specs.
- Poor auto-play options.
- Annoying music.
Graphics Quality
The graphics here are Okay for what they are. They are colorful, incorporating traditional carnival items, like cirrus props, with this game’s action occurring inside a massive red and white tent. The striking mallet is a 3D model, from what we can tell. And the rest of the elements are flat images, with the puck tower boasting some overlaid lights. Striker has a vibrant and polished look paired with a cartoony soundtrack and effects that we quickly found very annoying. Thankfully, these can get disabled by clicking the cog icon and lowering the two volume options to zero.
User Experience
The UX here is similar to most other provably fair-type games, with stats/results on the left, a middle game area with a betting panel that displays your potential payout, winning chances, and target multiplier, with your platform balance and settings icon occupying the right side of your screen with tables depicting live bets and top winners underneath these.
Tension & Anticipation Value
We experienced little to no tension in our Striker session. That mostly gets owed to us betting low and using the range option. We are sure that if you bet bigger and go for higher prizes than us, maybe you shall notice more adrenaline pumping through your veins than we did.
RTP & Variability
Pascal does not mention a variance setting for Striker, but it states that the RTP of this unique release is 96%.
Min/Max Multipliers
The multiplier scale in Striker goes from zero to one hundred.
House Edge
If the return-to-player percentage of Striker is 96%, this would make the casino advantage (house edge) of this game 4%, which is Okay but lower than average.
Winning Strategies
We suggest picking a range between one and ninety and raking in small wins. Maybe after you rack a decent win pile, you can lower your range, wagering only your winnings. If that goes well, you can lower your range once more. That will, of course, boost your potential round wins.
Summary – Is Striker Worth It?
We are not sure that Striker is much of a crash gambling option. Nonetheless, many sites list it as such. It has crash-like elements but seems more of a limbo/dice-inspired pick than anything. Still, we don’t really care where Pascal Gaming’s designers got their inspiration. We if it is a good gaming product or not. Unfortunately, it did little to intrigue us, even though it was something different compared to the usual crash fare we reviewed. Striker was not for us. It may be for gamblers who like to take as minimal risk as possible and are happy with eeking out the tiniest of profits in their sessions. If you fit that bill, look for this game.
