Stake’s Deposit & Withdrawal Methods – An In-Depth Look

GOSU GUIDE

As far as crypto casinos featured on BTCGOSU go, Stake is one of the more experienced ones, active since 2017. We have talked quite a bit about it, and we will continue to break up specific aspects of this platform into dedicated articles. In this one, we have decided to concentrate our efforts on providing all the information available regarding how you can fund your Stake casino account.

If you have not visited Stake, we suggest that you have a look-see. At the time of writing, it holds the number four spot in our Top Bitcoin Casinos standings. It features an impressive sportsbook, and boasts excellent game variety, a decent VIP program, and terrific promotions. Stake’s Accepted Cryptocurrencies

Stake crypto casino patrons can make deposits and withdrawals using eight coins. We list them, their deposit/withdrawal limits, and associated fees below.

Cryptocurrency Min. Deposit Min. Withdrawal Fee Note
Bitcoin / 0.0005 BTC 0.0002 BTC /
Bitcoin Cash / 0.03 BCH 0.00001 BCH /
Ethereum 0.003 ETH 0.01 ETH 0.005 ETH ERC20 addresses only.
Litecoin / 0.1 LTC 0.0005 LTC /
Dogecoin / 50 DOGE 1.5 DOGE /
Tron / 250 TRX 1 TRX Tron smart contracts are not accepted.
Ripple / 30 XRP 0.0001 XRP No XRP withdrawals to other Stake accounts.
EOS / 2 EOS 0.1 EOS No EOS withdrawals to other Stake accounts

As you can tell, technically, there are no deposit limits on this platform. You can fund your account with as many coins as your heart desires. The only exception to that rule is Ethereum, which has a minimum deposit limit of 0.003 ETH. That is due to the price of Ethereum’s transaction fee. It recently spiked on account of growing interest in this cryptocurrency.

Newbies should know that they can make Tron deposits/withdrawals here, but they cannot make smart contract transfers. That is a different type of Tron transaction that carries a bit more bandwidth. The Stake casino wallet cannot receive Tron smart contracts; it is not yet configured to do so. All users should know not to try and use them on this crypto gambling site.

Naturally, all transactions must first get confirmed by their respective blockchain before getting credited to your site balance. That is an automatic process. There is nothing you can do to speed things up. Different coins require a different number of network confirmations. Bitcoin, Ripple, Tron, and EOS require one network confirmation. Bitcoin Cash requires two, while Dogecoin and Litecoin need six, and Ethereum must go through twelve confirmations. The speed of this process depends on the state of the network.

If you have created your Stake account using your Facebook, Google, or Twitch credentials, you must perform an OAuth verification before taking out any funds from your balance.

Like most online casinos, Stake does not allow coin-mixing. So, you cannot deposit a specific amount and then try to withdraw it without placing a wager. That sort of behavior often gets construed as a fraudulent practice, falling in line with money laundering activities.

Buying Cryptos at Stake

If you have no digital coins to deposit, Stake says that that is no problem. You can find a Buy Cryptos option inside the cashier window. It lets you purchase any of the eight coins available on the platform through MoonPay, using MasterCard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. You can also find a direct link to this option on the Stake Bitcoin casino homepage. It will be above the payout chart.

MoonPay is a fiat on-ramp that enables mobile/web developers to allow their users to purchase cryptos via credit cards and other means. It is a service that is painless to integrate and simple to use. MoonPay supports over eight digital coins, as well as more than thirty fiat currencies. As far as we can tell, there aren’t many complaints about this service online. Though, there are a few accusations about fake reviews. We have not used MoonPay, so we cannot comment on its quality.

You can buy one type of coin on the Buy Crypto page, but you can choose to play with either euros or American dollars.

Stake’s Know Your Customer Procedure

At any time during your stay at the Stake crypto gambling platform, its staff may ask you to provide Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation. The site reserves the right to restrict payments and the use of its service until you supply enough information that sufficiently proves your identity. What documentation you must provide and when you have done enough to establish your identity remains at the sole discretion of this platform. Stake sportsbook and casino can share your data to comply with legal processes.

To verify your account, you will have to fill out a form available on your profile page. You can find this option by choosing settings from your account drop-down menu and clicking – verify. Acceptable proof of identification includes a photo of your passport, ID, or driver’s license. The form also asks you to state the source of your income. The entire process should not last more than 24 hours, and you will get notified via email once it gets completed.
