Primedice Review
Slice Media N.V. owns and operates Primedice. The Curacao-based company used to be called Medium Rare N.V., and it also runs Stake.com. That aside, we can count on one hand the number of Bitcoin casinos established in 2013, and this is one of them. Recently, the site hit a milestone as it took its 70 billionth bet. You can play here using eight of the most popular cryptocurrencies, and you can change the site interface to view it in nine languages, including Japanese.
First impressions
Ah, dice sites and the color blue, a familiar combo. Design-wise, Primedice doesn’t stand out, and it doesn’t have to, as the UX should revolve around its single game. It does feature some nice minimalistic graphics for its promotions that you can check out on the forum. That said, the simple design makes navigation a piece of cake.
To register, you’ll need to provide a username, password, and email address. After you do so, you automatically become a member. Alternatively, you can sign-in using your Facebook, Google, and Telegram account. Once you logout, and try to log back in, you’ll have to enter a code sent to your email inbox.
Once you complete your registration, you should set up adequate security measures on your profile page. Then, open the forums, explore the Primedice blog, or mingle in the public chat.
Games offered by Primedice
As the name suggests, there aren’t many Primedice games here. Only the simple crypto dice one. If you have played a provably fair dice game, you know how it goes. Here, you set a number from 0 to 100, pick the Roll Over or Roll Under options, bet your desired amount, and click – ROLL DICE. The game follows your command, and a nifty animation displays your result. The interface shows your payout multiplier and your win chance before you roll.
There’s a neat auto-bet option that has features such as increasing your bet amount on a win or loss by a specified percentage and stopping on profit or loss milestones.
You have a statistics panel below the game, which shows your last few rolls, how many wins you have accumulated, what you have bet, and your profits. You can also see who is making bets on the platform and if they are winning via the all-bets tab. You can hide your identity so that your user name doesn’t show up in these tables. A Races tab shows you the standings of the current wagering contests.
You can verify the fairness of each result, and you can request a new client seed at any time. The site features a dedicated page that explains the provably fair concept and how you can check out the randomness of every outcome.
Easy access
There is no Primedice mobile app. Based on our conversation with the staff, a Primedice Android app is a possibility, but this won’t happen soon. Dedicated software for iOS users is far less likely. They also told us they are satisfied with the Primedice mobile version. Upon inspection, we can see why.
We accessed the site via Chrome on our Android phone, and we liked what we saw. Seeing as the site is simple and easy to navigate, there isn’t much to say. Everything works fine. All the text is readable, and nothing caused us too much hassle. We didn’t like that when some of the options inside the cashier tab cut off-screen, that you have to slide your finger across the screen to access them. In our opinion, better UI would be if you could see them all at once. Nevertheless, that’s nitpicking as the mobile version is excellent.
Deposits & Withdrawals
As this is one of the oldest crypto casinos, we expected to see support for multiple cryptos. The platform did not disappoint as you should experience hassle-free deposits and Primedice withdrawals through any of the following cryptocurrencies:
- Bitcoin
- Bitcoin Cash
- Ethereum
- Dogecoin
- Litecoin
- Ripple
- EOS
- TRON
To fund your account, you’ll have to click the orange wallet button at the top of the page or access the same window through your account page.
Naturally, every method requires a pre-determined number of network confirmations before a deposit gets credited to your account. Each crypto also has its deposit and withdrawal limits.
To make a withdrawal, you will have to confirm your email. In most cases, withdrawals should happen instantly. When it comes to removing larger sums from your account, these will require manual processing. The site does not list processing times for these, as well as what these amounts are, but the staff did tell us that the whole process shouldn’t last more than 24 hours.
Primedice reserves the right to require any KYC documents it needs to determine your location and identity. It can restrict payment until it is sufficiently convinced that you are who you say you are, or for any other reason. It runs this process at its sole discretion. It also can disclose the information you provide to comply with a legal process.
Primedice Bonuses & Promotions
When you first open the home page, you may think that there are no Primedice promotions at all. There is no promo page and no separate bonus tab in your account profile. However, just because the platform doesn’t advertise these on the home page, that doesn’t mean that they do not exist.
If you are interested in promotions, you should visit the forum page dedicated to them. You’ll see that it divides the offers into four general categories. There are official offers brought to you by the Primedice team, VIP challenges available for those who have reached the Bronze rank or higher, promotions hosted by affiliates, and user giveaways. You should be able to find the deals presented in the forum, in the Telegram group, on Bitcointalk, and on Twitter.
These promotions feature deadlines and specific prize pools. Each one has particular rules that included the type of bet you must make on the dice game, a minimum bet limit, that all your bets must be public, unique prize pool distribution, and so on.
There’s an affiliate program. You get funds for every user that signs up and plays via your referral link. The program lets you attain a commission based on the house edge percentage acquired when your referral plays here. You get paid no matter if they win or lose. The default commission is 0.05%. However, if you are a quality affiliate, you may be able to negotiate a customized program that pays more.
There used to be a free faucet here that would not let your balance drop to zero, but the team disabled it a while ago. That said, there’s a chat rain, and you can win the Primedice jackpot if you roll 77.77 twice in a row. How much you win depends on your bet amount. To win 100% of the jackpot, you’ll need to bet over 0.01 BTC. Bets lower than 0.0001 BTC are not eligible for the big prize. You can also participate in leaderboard challenges here, also known as betting races.
VIP Program
Where do we stand on the subject of a Primedice VIP program? Well, there is one, and it claims that it’s among the best loyalty programs available in the world of crypto gambling.
You progress through the scheme via your bet activity, the accumulated sum of your wagers on the platform. Rising through the tiers, you earn bigger rewards and exclusive treatment. There are five tiers, and these are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. The Platinum tier has six sub-tiers, represented by Roman numerals (Platinum I-VI).
Each tier features special perks. For instance, in the first one, Bronze, you get rakeback, fortnightly bonuses, monthly bonuses, and VIP Telegram channel access. In the last one, Diamond, you get bonuses from a VIP Host in the currency of your choice, customized benefits, and more.
Those that are rising through the VIP system can get in on exclusive VIP promotions featured on the site’s forum, in the Telegram group, or on Bitcointalk. If you are considering playing here, monitor these mediums.
The Primedice loyalty program may also feature specialty challenges and both virtual as well as physical gifts. However, the site does not list what these are, so you’ll have to roll to find out.
Primedice Customer Support
As always, we begin our exploration of the Primedice support options by accessing the Primedice live chat via the icon in the lower right of your screen. A pop-up window immediately came up, and it said that customer support is available 24/7 through this option. We typed in our message and got a response within ten seconds. The representative we conversed with provided detailed and fast replies. He told us that the platform has no FAQ page because there’s always someone online to help. Serbia is the home-base for the support team.
If you run into an issue, and for some reason, you cannot access the live chat, you can establish Primedice contact through – support@primedice.com. However, the support team prefers that you use that option for complaints rather than site inquiries.
You may also seek assistance via the public chat. You can click the speech icon in the lower-left of your screen, and the chat panel should appear. At the time of writing, it said that there were 492 active users on the site. The chat is available in five languages. These are English, Russian, Indonesian, Portuguese, and Filipino. It limits you to 160 characters per message, but it’s fairly active, and you should get a response quickly from another member or a moderator.
Another community help option is the Primedice forum. You can gain access to this message board through your account drop-down menu or via the site’s footer. It is more active than other online casino forums, with about 200 member visits per day. Alternatively, you can post in the Telegram group, reach out on Twitter, or take part in the Bitcointalk and Primedice Reddit threads.
Security
Slice Media N.V., the company that runs Primedice, does so with a gaming license obtained by Curacao eGaming. The organization is one of the oldest and most stable providers of regulated iGaming services, regulating online casinos since 1996. However, according to experts, Curacao licenses are cheaper than those from other organizations because they offer little in terms of player protection. That said, in recent years, Curacao eGaming has made attempts to up its standards. Thus, some considered it the best of the Curacao bunch, and its licenses are commonplace in the crypto gaming sphere.
The site uses advanced encryption with a certificate issued by Amazon and an RSA Key (2048 Bits) to protect all data entered on the platform. All Primedice employees, contractors, and agents must maintain the confidentiality of player info and their trading behavior. The site will handle your information per the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
In case of a dispute, or any legal action regarding your use of the site, arbitration by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre shall handle the resolution of this disagreement via proceedings in English. Curacao laws shall govern this arbitration.
Before playing, the site advises that you head over to the Setting option inside your account and set up 2FA. You can also fiddle with API security if you know what you are doing.
GOSU Conclusion
If you like playing online dice, there is probably no better crypto gambling site to enjoy this past time than Primedice. The name says it all. Established in 2013, it is one of the oldest players in the sphere, and while it’s a single-game website, it makes up for the lack of game diversity by excelling in all other departments. The customer support is terrific, and there’s a real community here. The platform has a massive presence on social media and is very active on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit. It also features a dedicated blog where you can find interviews with lucky players and useful tips. We didn’t have a chance to discuss the Vault option that lets you store money. No matter, we said enough good things to warmly recommend Primedice for anyone who is looking for a quality play-on-the-go dice experience.
